Independence Day
Independence Day is one of those great days when everyone remembers the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters for our country and to
cherish the significance of sovereignty. It keeps the memories of the struggle for freedom alive in our minds. Also, it allows everyone to value
our hard-attained freedom and communal harmony by each passing year to protect our future.
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The ceremonial raising of the National Flag was followed by the
National Anthem and cheerful presentation of patriotic songs.
The School Principal’s speech reminded everyone of the privilege to be born in an independent country. She urged all of us to be proud of this
freedom, to honestly nurture it and to promise that we will strive to protect our country from any kind of insult or attack.
