Investiture
“Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life".
The Leadership at Goldcrest High, Vashi has always had
high standards. The quality that our students imbibe as they
grow and begin to shoulder responsibilities distinguishes
true Goldcrestians from others.
To recognize the students who have displayed great
leadership skills and developed a sense of responsibility, the
school held its Annual Investiture Ceremony for the
Academic Year 2019-20 on 15th June 2019 for Primary,
Middle, and Senior sections. Teachers had nominated
students based on their performance and dedication
throughout the Academic Year.
The Investiture Ceremony was a momentous occasion, as
the school entrusts hope, faith, and a mantle of
responsibility on the students of the newly appointed
cabinet. It also signifies reliance and confidence that the
school places on the elected office bearers.
To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students, to give
them a feel of functioning of an administrative body, after
careful examination and interviewing a host of students,
the Student Council was selected. The elected members
were asked to take the pledge of service with integrity and
to place the interest of the school and others before their
own.
Entering the realm of student leadership remains both a
challenge and an honour for every student .
