The PNP is deeply committed to preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage as a vital foundation of our national identity and a source of inspiration for future generations.
By safeguarding our cultural assets — tangible and intangible — we ensure that the soul of our heritage endures as a beacon of unity and pride, enriches tourism, and contributes to the sustainable development of our communities.
The PNP Will...
• Strengthen Cultural Preservation Programs through the restoration and maintenance of historical sites, monuments, and artifacts, document and safeguard traditional practices, folklore, and oral histories and create digital archives to preserve and share cultural heritage with a wider audience.
• Promote Education and Awareness by Integrating cultural studies into school curricula and organize national heritage festivals, exhibitions, and workshops to showcase cultural traditions.
• Build a Creative Economy to diversify our economic base and empower our people. Through funding and technical assistance, we will support aspiring creatives with resources, incubators,
and business development tools. We will actively commission works from the local creative community. We will promote locally produced creative works regionally and internationally, positioning TCI as a hub for innovation and artistic excellence.
• Establish an official Cultural Ambassadors Program to celebrate and promote our heritage, recognize individuals who exemplify and promote our cultural identity, empower cultural ambassadors, and foster national pride and unity through enhanced cultural visibility.
