 THE HONORABLE
Edwin A. Astwood
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
I am a strong believer in that It is always important to thank someone for their service and time to a country, a people, a job, or a mission, and that it is fitting to acknowledge the efforts when someone gives so much of themselves and their talents .
I want to join in and be associated with those showing appreciation for your commitment to service and to the people of your community . You are the ones who stand up while others sit down . We appreciate you sharing your valuable time and skills, and we are most grateful for your service to our nation and our fellow Turks and Caicos Islanders .
I have observed that we don’t tend to
notice or say thank you as often as we
should for the ongoing, faithful acts of
service happening around us, and for us every day . I believe that people like you are absolutely worthy of our gratitude and praise for doing what you have been doing day in and day out .
I want others to join me in thanking God for blessing you with your knowledge, skills, attitude, and abilities that have been a blessing to many others, and I look forward to your gifts continuing to be used to glorify our God, and in turn, be a service to others .
I end by thanking Mrs . Cynclair Musgrove Swann and all other organizers of this event, who like you are also frontliners in service, for seeing it properly to those that truly earned and deserve it .
