Stainless steel beer kegs had to travel to many places in the Olympia brewery for cleaning and 25
sanitizing, refilling, and labeling. In this photo from 1952, a monorail conveyor is shown
automatically transporting kegs from rail cars to different locations inside the plant. This conveyor
significantly speeded up the process of moving kegs.
