Local photographer Merle Junk took this photo in January 1949. Reliable Welders, a business on 30
the west side of the Olympia waterfront, built several tanks for use by the Olympia brewery.

Here a tank is being moved by Eads Transfer from the welding shop to the brewery; it’s escorted
by two police officers on motorcycles with sidecars.
