Executive Summary

The ‘Arnhem Leader’ programme is an
inspirational package focused on building
key strategies and behaviours in a real-
world setting, and preparing leaders for
the challenge of rapid, inter-relational and
multi-dimensional change.

The Centre for Army Leadership (CAL) was established at the
Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) to institutionalise
leadership excellence in the British Army.

It is now offering businesses the opportunity to access
the army’s vast leadership development experience by
participating in a unique leaders’ programme.

Jointly with the Inspirational Development Group (IDG), they
have created a programme for business people to address
business challenges using military techniques and lessons.

This programme will:

Hone the knowledge, skills and attitudes to effectively
respond and combat the pressures of a VUCA
environment

Enhance an effective personal leadership philosophy

Help develop a greater strategic awareness and
‘peripheral vision’

Allow time for reflection, application and feedback
