4.  Pass  the  physical  examination  to  be  conducted  by  the  University  Physician  upon
                              presentation of the results of the following laboratory works obtained from any accredited
                              government hospital:


                                 a. Urinalysis
                                 b. Fecalysis
                                 c. Chest X-ray
                                 d. Complete Blood Count


                          B.  Admission to the BSN Program shall be based on the following criteria:

                                     CSU-CAT                                       – 50%
                                          High School Scholastic Records                     - 40%
                                          Interview                                                          - 10%
                                                                                                                   100%

                          C.  Applicants who are shifters, transferees and graduates of other courses considering nursing
                              as a second course are considered least priority and shall be subject to availability of slots.

                       II. Promotion Policies for Level II


                              All  required  courses  for  both  semesters  of  the  first-year  level  must  be  satisfactorily
                              completed by the students.



                       III. Promotion Policies for Level III

                          A.  All  required  courses  for both  semesters  of  the  second-year  level  must  be  satisfactorily
                              completed by the applicants.

                          B.  Must pass the battery exam and screening.

                                  A  Battery Examination  will  be  given  to nursing  students  at  the  end of  the  second
                                  semester of their second year as a requirement for promotion in the third-year level. To
                                  be qualified for the battery examination, applicants must have a total average grade of
                                  85% or higher along the following courses:

                                  a.  Theoretical Foundations of Nursing
                                  b.  Fundamentals of Nursing
                                  c.  Anatomy and Physiology
                                  d.  Health Assessment
                                  e.  Community Health Nursing I
                                  f.  Care of Mother, Child, Adolescent (Well Clients)
                                  g.  Pharmacology

                       IV. Promotion Policies for level IV


                              All  required  courses  for  both  semesters  of  the  third-year  level  must  be  satisfactorily
                              completed by the students.



                       V. Admission Policies for Transferees from Other Nursing Schools

                          A. Transferees may be admitted in accordance with current university policies and guidelines
                               provided the college has not yet reached its maximum absorptive capacity.
