o Use encapsulation method for disposal of small amounts of pharmaceutical wastes.
o Use thermal or chemical treatment of infectious waste before disposal.
-Autoclaving of infectious waste is recommended for infectious wastes. If
not available, Use chemicals for disinfection such as chlorine, aldehydes
and peroxides to infectious wastes before disposal.
o Contact suppliers for the disposal of pharmaceutical wastes, if possible.
o Record all collected and disposed wastes
