After I was diagnosed with diabetes and found out there was no cure, I made
a promise to myself that I would do whatever I can to not only help raise
awareness, but also raise funds for research and advancements. I want to
raise awareness to help break the stigma around diabetes and educate my
community on the importance of diabetes. Every day more and more families
in my community are impacted and diagnosed with type one diabetes, and I
want to be able to do my part to help and support them.
