Another important thing to think
about is food waste.
Every year, a lot of food is thrown
away because it is not used in time.
This is bad for the environment
because it takes an awful lot of
resources to grow and transport
food, and when it goes to waste, all
that effort is for nothing.
That’s why we’re so keen that people
learn about ways to reduce food
waste, such as by planning meals
and buying only what they need –
something that’s very important in
today’s day and age.
