Understanding the Importance of Preventive Health Care
When it comes to healthcare, most people act re-actively instead of proactively. They won't go to the doc-
tor until they're sick and they won't take care of their body until problems start to arise.
Avoid High Medical Expenses
It is a lot less expensive to practice preventive healthcare than to only seek help when there is a problem.
Preventive care will either catch diseases before they become too serious, or it will inform you of problem
areas to be mindful of, which can prevent future diseases all together. Consider that seven out of 10
deaths every year are attributed to chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and heart disease—which are pre-
ventable and/or manageable with screenings and appropriate healthcare.
