OPERATIONS UPDATES

Congratulations Andrew Beurskens, Superintendent RV11 for being recognized with an Op-
erational Excellence Coin in September by Chris Dykhoff, Manager, Ballast and Grade.

Andrew and his team consistently generate quiet, consistent excellence in his operation. As the new Management
System Audit was rolled out, he was recognized by the Safety team as setting the “Loram Standard” for organization
          and pride in their operation.

His vigilance prevents both incidents and machine downtime and has consistently led the RailVac machine group. He
maintains a reliable, trusted operation in partnership with our customers.

Thank you, Andrew for all your efforts and keep it up.

Congratulations Brad Mashewske, Superintendent RV12 for being recognized with an Opera-
tional Excellence Coin in October by Chris Dykhoff, Manager, Ballast and Grade.

Brad has maintained a stellar safety record both in prevention of injury and operational incidents, coming from a
place of continued commitment to safety. As the Fleet Operations team has made an effort this year to hold the line
on safety performance amid an upward trend in incidents and in the face of industry challenges, Brad has been a re-
freshing voice in our long-distance collaboration, driving discussion, sharing lessons-learned, and remaining enthusias-
tically engaged. He puts this commitment in practice and has been commended by his supervisors for having the
courage to stop the line during heavy maintenance projects when it was necessary to regroup and ensure all team
members had an understanding of what was about to take place and could proceed with safely with the job.

Thank you, Brad, for leading by example.
