Scott Diercks Issues Congratulations to His Rail Grinding Division !

On 10/9/2021 the Rail Grinding Division will have gone 2 years without a lost time injury. Great Job in
advance! Other noteworthy news include:

• The production grinders have a Recordable Rate of .8 YTD, and only 2 recordable injuries in 2021.
 In 2020, we had 5 by October and finished the year with 6 recordable injuries.
 The next opportunity to improve the PRG record comes at the end of October when we
drop off another injury. If successful in October, we should be below .5 for the rest of the
year.
• The Specialty RG’s also have had a very successful year with only one recordable injury occurring in
February.
 Current Recordable Rate of 1.02 YTD, if we can end the year with no injuries, we should be
well below 1.
 I also looked at the records and the SRG Group Lost Time rate of 0 spans beyond 6 years!

As a division, we have 4 recordable injuries on our 12-month record with one that will drop off in Octo-
ber. Keep up the great work!
