September 2017 and for first examination
- Syllabus was revised in 2004 and 2016. in May–June 2018. Syllabus will be published
in June 2017.
- First examination on the 2004 revised
syllabus was in 2005.

- Review meeting was held in
November 2014.

- Panel Meeting was held in January 2016.

SUBSEC is asked to receive the report on the meeting of the Panel for the CAPE® History Syllabus and
to note:

para. 6: objectives of the Panel meeting;

paras. 7–8: report of the Panel;

paras. 9–15: summary of the Panel’s response to the concerns of stakeholders on the syllabus;

para. 16: presentation by the Examinations Development and Production Officer; and,

para. 17: development of Specimen Papers.

SUBSEC is asked to approve:

para. 18: the revised CAPE® History syllabus.
