that if I ever played with Elisa, I’d be out their bad

girls club. Of course, like any other girl I wanted to
stay in the club, so I sat back down in the seat,

feeling defeated and sad.

The next day, when I thought Theresa couldn’t get

any worse, she took off Elisa’s hat in front of the

whole school. This time I was so upset, I gathered

some courage, got up from my seat at the cafeteria
table and walked over to Theresa and said, “I think

it’s time you leave Elisa alone. So what if she’s not

as privileged as we are to live in a proper home or

have long flowing hair like you Theresa. I think you

should leave her alone.”
