My Lovely Island in the Sun
I
n an island so beautiful, so lovely and tropical,

there are music, carnival, friendly people and
traditional food, all of which sets the foundation

for Grenada’s rich culture.

On my little island music is the first thing you

hear as you wake up in the morning. Usually the
week starts with some old gospel on a Sunday

morning, which is followed by some slow reggae

later in the day. From there the week will go on

with calypso, soca, jazz, hip hop, R&B, and end off

with some dancehall.
