When Bad Turns to Good
“I’ve lost my money! What will I do?” I cried.
“I think my pants got washed away by an
enormous wave. I told you guys to let’s put our
bags on a bench, but no, you guys didn’t want to
listen.”
Francis stopped me and said in a soft caring voice,
“Don’t worry, I will buy your lunch for you.”
“Thank you Francis. Do I have to pay you back?”
I asked.
“No, we are best friends. You know I have a ….”
But I was still mad with myself for not leaving my
things on a bench and before she could finish
what she was saying I grumpily interrupted,”
Now I won’t have any lunch money for the rest of
the week either.”
”I wasn’t finished talking,” said Francis.
“Continue then,” I said more calmly.
“I was saying I have the best idea in the world.
