                 7.  DIAGRAM              Ask students to draw a diagram depicting the flow of energy through

                                          simple food chains and food webs.


                 8.  VENN DIAGRAM         Ask students to create a Venn diagram to compare/contrast a form of

                                          renewable energy and a form of non-renewable energy.


                 9.  CLASS DISCUSSION  Have class discussion on the impact of fossil fuel use on our health and

                                          the environment, and the new of renewable energy.



                 10. RESEARCH             Ask students to conduct research of sustainable energy, and in

                                          particular, EE. RE and EC in the Caribbean, paying attention to
                                          opportunities and challenges.


                 11. PRESENTATION         Invite guest lecturers with knowledge of environmental management

                                          systems, technologies and guidelines including ISO 14000 family of

                                          standards particularly 14040 and 14044, and ASTM standards, as well
                                          as ISO 50001:2011.



                 12. INTER-SCHOOL         Organize inter-school debates (at national level) on aspects of Green
                    DEBATE                Energy and the importance of incorporating and practicing sustainable

                                          energy (EE, RE, and EC) during CARICOM Energy Week


                 13. RESEARCH             Ask students to research the concept of nano technology and its uses.


                 14. RESEARCH             Ask students to research the use of biodegradable wood (sawdust and

                                          wood pulp) to create microchips and batteries.
