Jambo’s Dream
The next day, he decided that he did not want to
continue selling so he stayed at home. Then there
was a knock at the door. “Jambo!” his mom
shouted, “Come here!” With a sigh, he rushed
downstairs and, to his surprise, there was the old
lady. “Hello, Jambo. I am Mrs Moss,” she said. “See
that music school over there?” She pointed to the
tall, shiny building. Jambo did not need to look.
She continued, “I own it.” Jambo was surprised but
kept his mouth shut. “If you promise to do your
best at school, I promise to give you as much
lessons as you want for free.” When Mrs Moss left,
Jambo took his guitar and hugged it tightly. He
started dreaming about all the music he would
play.
