The Harvey’s Survival Against Hurricane Imma
Chickens flew out; the rabbits were hopping; the
goats tried to go outside; the cows made a very
loud ‘moo’ sound and the pig fainted. The Harveys
panicked, Mary and Pinky stayed back, while Peter
and the boys went to try and save the animals,
looking for as long as they could.
While Peter and the boys were securing the
animals back in the barn, they heard a loud scream
and they hurried to the house, as they struggled
against the blustery wind, to see what had
happened.
When they arrived, they found Mary and Pinky
screaming and holding each other as they prayed
to God to keep them safe, because a part of the
roof flew off the house. Billy called 911 for help,
but they were not able to come to their rescue. The
rain poured into the house like cats and dogs, then
Peter decided to go to another shelter, so he tied a
rope around his waist and connected each family
member.
