Quarantine Finds
Was the iguana smart enough to get away from
the dogs? It’s tail was very long and muscular.
As we looked at the iguana using its tail as a
weapon to keep the dogs away, I remembered
another recent chanced meeting with crabs.
I never knew that crabs could be so vicious.
On another memorable day, my brother and
I were exploring our little, green, lush Paradise.
Our home sits in between two large ravines (at
least that is what we like to call them).
We had the brilliant idea to try and discover if
fishes lived in the water there. It was quarantine
and life was becoming too predictable. Maybe if
we caught fishes we may just be able to try our
hands at some fake cooking. We gathered an old
tin and descended into the ravine and got lucky.
It was not a fish but some baby crawfishes.
For two people who enjoyed ‘tab’ time, this was a
new and awesome experience. The uncertainty of
getting into the ravine without an accident. The
smell of the muddy water and the excitement of
the find.
