1.Avoid giving smartphones to children as these are very dangerous for tender
         ages.
         2. Avoid keeping the smartphone nearby when sleeping as the radiation emitted
can lead to very harmful effects.
         3. Keep it at least 1-1.5 feet away from the eyes.
         4. Do not spend long, continuous hours viewing the phone and use it in the
         proper light.
         5. Keep blinking while viewing the phone and even use eye drops to keep the
         eyes moisturized.

         6. Avoid contact between the face and the screen of the phone as there are
always many harmful bacteria on it.
         7. Follow ‘The 20-20-20 Rule’, that is, taking a break from looking at the screen
of the smartphone every 20 minutes for 20 seconds while looking at something
         20 feet away.
         8. Use the smartphone only for the purpose for which it is needed – No addiction
         and time wastage.
         9. Avoid watching long movies frequently on your smartphone.

People should also make other rules of their own in addition to these basic ones,
as per their usage patterns so that they can lead healthier and more balanced
lives. Moreover, the excessive use of smartphones is resulting in strained social
interactions as they are only glued to their mobile screens. They think that they
would use social media to interact with their friends instead of physically
meeting them. Starting from birthday wishes to condolence messages, now

people only use social networking sites rather than calling/meeting personally.
This unsociable behaviour of people is resulting in a decreased number of
friends and relatives. This also affects the mental health of the person resulting
in many diseases. We can conclude by saying that It is the need of the hour
that every individual must have his own rules on his usage of smartphones.
