AD1EDTISTRATI0M REPORT OP THE K2RMAH, YEZD AND
BANDAR A33AS CONSULAR AREA. FOR THE' YEAR 1942.
A. KERMAN.
I. H*MfS CONSULATE,
(a) H.M'a Consul,
(1) Lt-Colonel G.A. Falconer held charge of His
Britannic Fajesty^ Consulate, Kerman, Yezd and Bandar Abbas till
the 14th September, 1942, when H.A*>T. Barlow, Esquire, I.C.3. took
over and continued in-charge till the end of the year,
(il) Tours of H.H»b Consul,
_ The following tours, were made.during the.year t-
Bam, Between 19th and 23rd January*
Yezd, Isfahan and Between 21st April ana 6th May.
Tehran.
Yezd. Between loth and 19th LIarch ani
13th apd 17th October.
Yezd, Shiraz and Isfahan* Between 12th and 22nd November.
(b) Vice-Consul,
(i) Ur, R.A, Clinton Thomas, I.C.S., held charge of the
office of H.B.M’s Vice-Consul, Kenan up to the 12th August, when
he proceeded on transfer to Birjand.
Captain P.F.C. Nicholson, took over charge of the post
of Vice-Consul, Kerman with effect from 7th September and remained
in office till the enu of the year.
(ii) Tours of Vice-Consul.
The- following tours v/ere made by the Vice-Consul
during the period under report t-
Bandar Abbas. Between 2nd and 12th March.
Yezd. During first half of July.
Cc) Additional Vice-Consul*
Major 7.M.T* Mag an, arrived in Kerman on the 4th April
and took up the uutle6 of additional Vice-Consul and A.L*0*t Kerman*
He held this post till the end of the year*
The following tours were made by him during the year i-
(1) Bandar Abbas* B a tween 18th and 24th April*
(2) Isfahan-Tehran* 27th April and 13th May*
(3) Zahidan. 14th and 21st May*
(4) Yezd. 3rd and 6th June*
(5) Slrjan* w 9th and 11 th June*
(6) Zahidan-Birjand* m 16th and 26th June*
