absorbs 62$ of the total revenue.
It has been stated in the past that the Civil

List should not exceed half the total revenue, if,
during the period under review, the Civil List hod
been 50$ only the difference would have been Rs 41,000/-
which would have covered the deficit on Customs
receipts.
