worn by the Sheikhs are of a light-brown,
or cream colour, and sell for forty or fifty
dollars; the black camoline, and those
striped in alternate vertical bars of brown
and white, eight or ten dollars. The camo
line forms the most important article of their
dress, and its quality denotes the condition
and rank of the wearer.
