         two other men of his own type, Mahmood Mardi and________
         are now employed in the Imperial Bank of Iran. He is one of
         the leading lights of the Muharraq Club and is opposed to
         the Bahrain Government.

         3.     Ali and Abdulla Wazzan, so.ns of a Holi shopkeeper,
         of Persian extraction, both quite young with a following of
         youths who have lately left school. They are suspected of
         being concerned in the anonymous notices and letters which
         were issued during the summer.

         4.     Mohomed Saleh Chirawi, a Holi, a relation of No.l,
         who was imprisoned some years ago for inciting the public
         against the Government. Mentally unstable and at times
         fanatical,
         5.     Mahmood Mardi, ex secretary of Mr Wakelin, brother
         of a man who took an active part in anti Government demons­
         trations some years ago.
         6.     Mohomad Jasim Chirawi, son of a Holi merchant of
         Muharraw who was convicted last year for buying stolen
         property, An ex school teacher. He recently returned from
         Cairo where he had gone with his cousin Yusuf Obedli.
         7.     Mohomed Sadiq, an Indian Moslem tailor,

         missed from school for immorality, notoriously anti-Jew,
