Village Sohools,
Thoro are threo in number. In all oobos tho standard is
doplorable. Wo have now overcome tho difficulty of ovororowding
by adding two of more olass-rooms to euoh oohool. WJiora fonuerly
GO - 90 ohildren wore sitting on tho floor of ono room, each
olaos has ito own classroom und tho maximum number is reatrictod

It 18 impossible to reoruit suitablo local staff, and teaohor

therefore provide transport for tho staff of these schools.
Two boys from eaoh of the village sohools are living in tho
Hostel attending tho Manama Primary Sohools. In this way wo hope
to train thorn as toaohors so that in your3 to oorao they may return
to thoir villages as sohool motors.

fed, aisorably olad and oarry the dirt and disoaae of yoara. To
alleviate“this we provide every village schoolboy with four
loaves of bread per day and have during the year issued two sots
of olothing to them.
