will bo roquirod to fill the post Of Director of
Education. This matter is further complicated by
the fact that Willey wont to Cairo to arrange about
the hostel for the Bahrain students who uro to go to
Egypt at tho ond of September and presumably owing to
his illness it will not have boon possible for him
to doal with this matter.
13. I hope to bo in England next month and it will
therefore be possible for no myself to see und to
recommond candidates for Bahrain. A local difficulty
exists and that is tho housing shortage. It has boon
suggested by Bapco that the oil Inspector should live
at Awali#Quarters aro available for tho Director of
Education but at present no accommodation exists for an
Assistant State Engineer or Principal of tho Technical
School unless tho new British Police Inspector occupies
rooms at tho Fort, which havo boon prepared, instoad of
taking over a flat in His Ilighnoss’s building previously
occupied by tho Public Relations 3taff.
