                    You will remember tnat wnen I wan at dome you and I
             discussed the question of Petroleum Conceaaiono Limited on tne

             Trucial Coast witn Stewart*    I took tne opportunity on tnat
             occasion of outlining tne expansion of the administration of
             Bahrain, especially in regard to social Serviceo, wnicn would
             now  be posoiblo owing to the increased revenue from oil.

             in Bahrain is in fact a very interesting and important develop­
             ment in which His Majesty^ Government are closely concerned*

             Besides tne humanitarian point of view of bettering tne lot
             of tne people of Bahrain there is also the political aspect.
             The Arab side of the Gulf is nowadays mucn in tne public eye,
