Khalifa without first consulting tho
political ,»gent .
To (jive your relatione money
whenever they ask for it amounts to
supplementing their allowanoeo out of
your own pocket. If you do this
voluntarily and bear tho expense of
ooui'se it io no one’s concern but yours„
but if, ray friend, you supplement their
allowances out of your pocket and then
ask for an inoreaood allotment from tho
Bahrain State Funds it amounts to ask
ing the State to increase indirectly
the allowances of these members of the
nl Khalifah which it io already unable
to do directly, and this , I am sure you
will aguee io impossible .
1 oounsel you, my friend , to
use every effort to keep your expendit
ure within bounds , and within your
allowance. Later on if and when the
State funds are in a sound condition,
and even by that time you find it diff
icult to keep within your allowanoe , tha
jueotion might possibly be reconsidered•
