103. The Chiefs of Mekran coast on what constitutes now the Persian
Baluchistan from Gwether Bay to Jask, with whom we have had political
connection are the following:—
The Chiefs of Bahu,
The Chiefs of Dashtyari,
The Chiefs of Geh,
The Chiofs of Jask »
and other petty chiefs who are more or less subordinate to these.
These chiefs have been under the political control of the Governor of
Bampur, usually a local chieftain.
