Scorer from Yezd. Dr. Dodson is still
working in the C. M. S. Hospital and the number of in-door and out-door
patients is gradually increasing averaging about 60 daily during the year
under report.

sulted in a quick and sudden flood from
the Gaoki hills at Mahun which devastated the eastern half of the village and
did a considerable amount of damage to it and the shrine of Shah Niama-
tullah, two men and innumerable animals being drowned. The shrine was
inundated and the tomb itself submerged.
The early and middle rains of the year were timely and the crops promise
well.
The weather was abnormally hot, maximum 108' and minimum 83' during
the month of July.
Several Afghan caravans bringing arms and ammunition were reported

tried to seize them but without any result.
No outbreak of epidemic disease has occurred during the last few years

throughout the year. A couple of cases
of typhus fever were reported, but were not fatal.
