arrested on thoir way up oountry at Janah and quarantined for 15 days.
This timely action prevented the spread of the disease in the interior.
Cholera.—The ports of Basrah and Mohammcrah were infected with
cholera from August to November, but no cases wore imported hero from
those ports.
At the end of November Bahrain and Debai were infected with cholera.
Two cases, both of which provod fatal, ;were imported from the latter place.
