Basrah, were able to draw largely on

through the instrumentality of this Consulate, Shaikh Sir IChazal Khan and
Shaikh Chasib Klian supplied cattle and sheep at pre-arranged rates.
The Consulate also purchased water hubs and ghee for the Military
Authorities at Basrah.
