 STRATEGIC PLANNING
Archon Derek J. Robinson
Vision Statement
The Grand Strategic Planning Committee leads a coordinated, systematic and highly-intentional approach to planning the direction of our frater- nity, ensuring that it remains true to its frater- nal values, responsive to its community needs, sustainable in its operations, and resourced to achieve its goals.
Charge
The Grand Strategic Planning Committee is res- ponsible for reviewing the appropriateness of the Fraternity’s strategic long-range and short-range goals and objectives, receiving recommendations from the Executive Committee of the Grand Bou-
lé for consideration of new strategic goals and objectives, monitoring the implementation of the Fraternity’s strategic plan, providing assistance to member and regional boulés as requested, and preparing updates to the Fraternity’s rolling strategic plan for approval by the Executive Com- mittee of the Grand Boulé and the membership.
Activities
During the first 100 days of the 49th Administra- tion of Grand Sire Archon Dwayne M. Murray, the committee commenced its work hosting meetings on August 20, September 23 and October 28 with strong participation from all appointees. Building upon the continuity of the committee from the prior administration, we are establishing strategic planning milestones across the biennium that will set the stage for the Fraternity’s continued success over the next decade. During these changing times when all of the rules of society have seemingly been broken, the committee’s work is imperative to the renewed relevance of our organizations and its function in our society.
