  100 Day Report
100 Day Report
 WESTERN
Sire Archon Jon Gray
I am honored to submit this progress report as we observe the first 100 days of your ad- ministration. As we closed the virtual 55th Grand Boulé, we were challenged by the ambi- tious plans that you have laid out for the next biennium. On behalf of the Western Region,
I am proud to inform that the Western Region has enthusiastically endorsed the plans you have articulated and will order our work around the biennial theme: Vision, Leadership, and Action During Changing Times.
Plans for the 21st Biennial Western Region Boulé are well under way guided by our host member boulé, Epsilon Iota Boulé in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The scheduled dates are October 14-17, 2021. Following the lead of the 55th Grand Boulé, we have made the decision to offer our biennial ga- thering in a virtual format due to the continuing uncertainty regarding public health issues. Epsilon Iota Boulé is planning a memorable and content rich gathering that will provide an opportunity to get to know the best of one another. Included in the plans will be an observance of the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre to discern the lessons for us today.
The Western Region ended the previous biennium in a growth and expansion mode by the addition
of two new member boulés: Epsilon Chi Boulé in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Zeta Alpha Boulé in Fort Bend County, Texas. We anxiously await the addition of what will be known as Zeta Beta Boulé in Plano-Frisco, Texas. The public health pandemic has delayed the musterion ceremony for Zeta Beta Boulé, but we are proud that you have committed yourself to conducting the ce- remony setting our newest member boulé apart as soon as it is feasible. We have identified the Omaha-Lincoln area and will study the prospect for further growth and expansion into the state of Nebraska.
I am impressed and encouraged by the many skills, talents and enthusiasm that I find among Western Region Archons. We published the first edition of our yet-to-be-named Western Re- gion newsletter. Our social action goals have been shared with each member boulé in order to encourage each to pursue an active role in developing the youth of our respective com- munities. We have responded to the call for full voter participation in the 2020 General Election. The Western Region stands at 94% Minton status and is poised to achieve 100% status during my term as Western Region Sire Archon.
I have had the privilege to fellowship either virtua- lly or in person with 12 of our 18 member boulés in the region. I aspire to visit each member boulé before the expiration of my term.
