—And Why It Matters
and on Stage
Assumptions and judgments are being made about us—and by us of others— all the time. These can lead to powerful impressions—both positive and negative.
Because we are a highly visual culture, there's a good amount of energy around how we show up. We play a greater part in how we are perceived than we sometimes admit. An awareness of how we show up, our habits and communication style, allows us to own and empower the messages that we deliver to others.
Write in your journal
To Me Presence Means...
What positive impressions have you left on others? What habits
or communication styles did you use that may have supported this impression?
When have your habits or communication style gotten in your way and not supported you in making a strong or positive impression?
