GET REAL: That's What Actors Do
Actors, contrary to popular belief, have spent their time learning to be present, real and in the moment—not fake. Inauthenticity is as undesirable in acting as it is in our communication. As the audience or listener, we want any element of a wall to come down so that we can connect. As the communicator, this is the scariest step—to be open, vulnerable, and connected.
