                          Marker

                          Set project marker
                          This option places a project marker at the current playback position. More
                          information about project markers is available in the chapter "Markers" under "Set
                          project marker (view page 119)".
                          Keyboard shortcut:           Ctrl + Enter

                          Delete project marker
                          Deletes the selected project marker (view page 119). Project markers can be deleted
                          and renamed via the context menu.

                          Snap markers

                          Set snap marker: To set a snap marker, select an object and place the playback
                          marker at the position where you would like the snap marker to be. You can set as
                          many snap markers as you like per object.


                          You can move a snap marker with the mouse using drag & drop. Or use the "Align
                          objects to grid markers" function.

                          Keyboard       Ctrl + P
                          shortcut:      A snap marker will be set where the playback marker is located in
                                         the selected object.

                          Set snap markers (advanced): Open the snap markers section in the Media Pool
                          under "Effects".

                          Align objects on snap grid: Aligns the objects so that they snap to the snap markers.

                          Delete all snap markers: This deletes all snap markers for all objects in a film.

                          Show or hide snap markers:You can hide snap markers if required and show them
                          again later.

                          Set chapter markers

                                 Places a chapter marker at the position of the playback marker. This creates a
                                 chapter entry in the disc menu in case the movie is being burned to disc.

                          You can rename the chapter markers by right clicking and selecting "Rename" in the
                          context menu. The new name will also appear in the chapter menu (view page 244).
