Live Effects

Live Effects are bitmap effects that can be applied to any object using Xara Picture Editor
tools or Adobe® Photoshop® plug-ins.

The LIVE EFFECTS TOOL is located on the PHOTO TOOL flyout.

Browse through the list of available Live Effects by clicking the NEW button on the Live
Effects InfoBar.

Add a new Effect
List of effects applied, in order
Edit the selected effect
Live effect resolution
Delete current effect
Lock/unlock all effects
Delete all effects
Configure to find plug-ins

Introduction

NOTE: This tool is included in the 64-bit version of Web Designer Premium for legacy
reasons only, for documents that use bitmap feathering or bitmap shadow effects, which
will work in 64-bit Designer. The 64-bit version does not support general 32-bit
Photoshop plug-ins and no 64-bit effects are included with the product.
