EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

It is expected that the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director have a bachelor’s degree in public administration, sociology, human resources (or a related field) and five years of increasingly responsible professional level experience around diversity & inclusion, cultural awareness, social justice or a related field; or
an equivalent combination of education, experience and training sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
SALARY
————
The salary range for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director is $85,000 - $120,000. Salary placement within the salary range will be determined by education and experience.

➢ Retirement: 401(a) retirement plan with a 7% contribution from FIRST 5. A 457 (b) retirement plan is also available in addition to the 401(a).

Resumes will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined in this brochure. Those candidates who demonstrate the most relevant experience will be given preliminary interviews by the consultant. CPS HR Consulting will report those results to FIRST 5. FIRST 5 SCC will then select candidates to be interviewed by a panel.
A final interview process may be scheduled to further evaluate selected candidates. References and background checks will be conducted for the successful candidate.
