Story 151
A Peculiar Kid
Sid was a pe•cu•liar kid. Although toothless, he chewed a tobacco quid.
Although generally skinny, he had a fat mid.
He often hid from school to go to the track to wager a "small bid."
Con•se•quent•ly his grades slid, as he took a fi•nan•cial skid.
Yes, this is what the silly six-year old did!
Story 152
The Bothersome Midge
Bob, Ted, Carol, and Sue - hiking on a mountain ridge – stopped at
a spot overlooking a bridge.
They planned to eat spinach, porridge, and cabbage; then to play
cribbage and bridge. But before they could eat a smidge, they
were chased off by a pestering, biting midge.
