In Memoriam

                     The Light Remains

                            There are some who bring
a light so great to the world,

that even after they have gone
                                  the light remains.

Richard and Evelyn had a deep appreciation of the Y’s mission and its impact
on the Cerritos community. They lived earlier in Hawaii and were respectively
involved in the YMCA and YWCA there. When they moved to Cerritos in the
early 1970s, they sought out the Y, and were devoted to doing their part to
help the Y serve their community, particularly youth. They were long time annual
contributors and members of the Heritage Club.

Richard passed away on October 1, 2021. He is survived by his wife Evelyn and
         their two children.
