IMPLEMENTING BODY PEELING
into your practice
When incorporating body peeling with the VI Peel
Body you will be able to maximize your patient
outcomes while enhancing your practice’s service
portfolio. There are a few guidelines when performing
body peels in your practice. To assure patient safety,
body peels should be limited to 25% body surface area
per session. In addition, to avoid toxicity from Phenol,
a maximum of 10 mL of solution can be performed in
a 48-hour timeframe. This includes body peels as a
standalone or body peels combined
with facial peels.
Following the above safety parameter will set the
stage for you to produce dramatic changes for your
patient’s skin. Dosage of VI Peels will vary based
on the body part being treated. To assure optimal
outcomes, we have provided you with a guideline of
dosage requirements by body part.
