P. 1

Firstly, we hope all of our students, their families and friends all remain safe and well.

Here at UKTheatreSchool, we continue to follow government guidelines while carrying on doing the great work our
         staff and students do.

As you all know by now, we have moved our lessons onto our UKTS VIP Virtual Lesson Platform—thank you so
much for your lovely emails and comments regarding this. The overall feedback we have received from students,
parents and guardians has been phenomenal. We especially love when a parent tells us that, off-camera, they are
joining in on some of the lessons. It has been fantastic and great fun for parents—especially as it gives them the
chance to see a little bit of what their child learns in classes.

         Our New Staff Member!
For all of the UKTS staff, we are working remotely from home. We have even managed to add some additional staff
to help us through this challenging period. Meet our latest staff member, Bobo the Beagle! Bobo is great at
de-stressing us while we work. Upon researching about dogs in the workplace, studies have found that pets remind
people to "paws" (pardon the pun!) and step back from whatever task they are doing. Short walks, a little playtime,
and temporary distractions allow mental breaks so as not to overwork. Pets in the workplace reduce stress levels
and nurture productivity and are also capable of boosting your mood - so we are all over that just now! We would
love for you to send us any photos of you with your pets during this period and let us
know how they have helped you.

Throughout this newsletter, as well as highlighting our current projects and what we
hope to do on our return to our studios, we will outline what we are putting in place to
ensure the continued health, safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors.
