Safeguarding, Health & Wellbeing
The health and safety of our students, staff and visitors are paramount and always have been. In this new era where we have to think
about approaching things somewhat differently, our team have been meeting virtually to discuss all of the positive changes we can
make at UKTheatreSchool to ensure added protection going forward.
We will have a comprehensive list of all of our new safety measures in our July Newsletter. For now, please be assured we are going to
be operating a fantastic new system throughout our school, and we cannot wait to share it with you all.
Just a little bit of what we have done or added so far:
A professional deep clean throughout the entire building
The entire school has been freshly painted
The reception area has been updated
Revised Entry & Exit of our building
Social distancing markers placed within all studios & reception areas
Lots more hand sanitisers for your convenience
We’ve extended one of our studios
We’re putting a fantastic new entry system in place to improve on
everyone’s safety (more info on this in our July Newsletter)
We’re upgrading air systems within our studios and reception areas
(more info on this in our July Newsletter)
We’re revising timetables to ensure the changeover of students runs
better
A new campaign Stay Safe With UKTS is being put in place - with
complimentary fresh fruit for all of our students (see Page 5) to highlight
the importance of healthy eating for healthy minds and boosting our
immune systems.
These are just a few of the things we will have in place for our students’
return in August. There are more steps in the pipeline, and once we have
everything fully implemented, we will share all of the details with you.
We cannot wait to get back to in-person classes, and yes, things will be done
differently in some ways, but everything will be to ensure the health and
wellbeing of everyone. While your child is learning, you will know that they
are in an extremely safe environment with some of the best teaching staff in
the country.
