This partnership aims to ensure a seamless transition of ADRC functions and achieve shared goals, ultimately benefiting service recipients throughout the state.Beginning on June 1, 2025, individuals can access the ADRC through the existing toll-free number (855-200-ADRC [2372]), website inquiries, and in-person visits to the main ADRC office or satellite locations.In preparation for the launch, a public outreach campaign will commence in May. This campaign will inform the public about new locations for drop-in ADRC services, highlight community partners, and provide easy ways to connect with the ADRC.The KDADS website will also be updated with new information about the ADRC, including details on services, contact information, and resources. Visitors are encouraged to check the website regularly for the latest updates and information.Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) Grant Program Funding Now Available(4.1.2025) The U.S. DOT released the latest round of funding opportunity for the Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) grant program. The following groups of applicants are eligible for the SS4A grant program:%u2022 A political subdivision of a State or territory, defined as a unit of government created under the authority of State law. This includes cities, towns, counties, special districts, certain transit agencies, and similar units of local government created under State law.%u2022 A federally recognized Tribal government.%u2022 Metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs).%u2022 A multijurisdictional group of entities from the ones described above (select one lead applicant from group).%u2022 Learn more about eligible applicants for SS4A.If your organization is interested in pursuing these funds, we encourage you to contact the Kansas Infrastructure Hub to discuss how they can support your pursuit of these grant dollars. Applications are due to U.S. DOT by June 26, 2025, but if you intend to request Build Kansas Funds you should contact Kansas Infrastructure Hub soon to understand the Hub%u2019s timeline and schedule. Kansas City Kansas Veterans Claims and Resource FairTopeka, KS (3.31.2025) The Kansas Office of Veterans Services Office (KOVS) in partnership with the VA Veterans Benefits Administration Regional Office invites all Veterans, military, and family members to attend the Kansas City, Kansas Veterans Claims and Resource Fair at Veterans Memorial Hall, 600 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas on April 22-24, 2025. Benefits experts will offer on-site one-on-one counseling on the Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act issues and all Veteran benefits.
