April 2025 is Kansas County Government Month (KCGM), held in conjunction with NACo%u2019s National County Government Month (NCGM), an annual celebration of county government. Since 1991, the National Association of Counties (NACo) has encouraged counties to actively promote county roles and responsibilities in serving residents. Counties can schedule activities any time during the month. NCGM is an excellent opportunity for your county to highlight effective or innovative county programs and raise public awareness of services provided to the community.The Kansas Association of Counties, is once again partnering with you, our Kansas Counties, for Kansas County Government Month, as we together share important messaging throughout the month of April to highlight your county employees and the work they do in delivering effective county programs, and raise public awareness and an understanding of the various services and products provided across your county.
