KAC has submitted a request to the Kansas Governor%u2019s Office for a Kansas County Government Month proclamation, but we will not know if this event is selected until late March. Be sure to utilize and share this document, Kansas County Government Overview, in your messaging during Kansas County Government Month. This handout provides valuable information on a general overview of Kansas County government governance. Also included in the handout is a list of the eighteen services that Kansas Counties are mandated by Kansas statute to provide.NACo%u2019s NCGM toolkit located here is full of ideas, from press releases, to sample social posts, to educational resources and more.
